Registration Forms for the 47th (2010) Woodstock International Camp have been Posted. Click on the Link for 2010 registration forms. Woodstock International Scout Camp is a long running international scout camp aimed at Scouts (11-14) and Venturers (15-18). For many youth this is their first experience at an international scouting event. The camp has scheduled events (and some open events) for the youth to participate in. The events are based on scouting skills and designed to be fun and completive. Groups are broken up into patrols of 5-6 to do the events. If needed you may form composite patrols to do the events (this is almost always the case for the Venturer age group). There are separate programs for the Scouts and the Venturers. To make your life simpler, food is provided at this camp from Friday mug-up (cracker-barrel) to Sunday breakfast. You will be required to do your own cooking, but the meals are designed for a minimal of cooking. As a special treat, Saturday supper is totally prepared and served (roast beef dinner with all the trimmings). You have the choice of individual servings, or group servings and bringing it back to your site. Camp is usually closed by 10:30am on Sunday leaving you plenty of time to pack-up and head home (some of the troups will have a 6 to 8 hr drive. |
