General InformationThis Site is used to keep Scouters and Scouts aware of the various activities that are taking place in and around Woodstock, as well as to provide information about Camp Shegardaynou and the various activities that take place there. Woodstock is a small part of the Mindaamin Area for Scouting. The Mindaamin area includes the area covered by the towns of Ingersoll, Thamesford, Tillsonburg, Woodstock, and surrounding area. The Area includes about 1200 registered Youth and Adults. Mindaamin Area combines with many other areas to form Tri-Shores Region. The Links page will provide a map of Tri-Shores Region with links to the Area and Regional WEB Pages. Tri-Shores Region combines with many other Regions to form the Central Division which includes Ontario and some of Quebec. Central Division combines with the Eastern and Western Divisions to form the Canadian Scouting Organization or Scouts Canada. The News Page will provide the latest information on Scouting activities that affect all or most of the groups operating in and around Woodstock. The Links Page will provide links to other Scouting WEB sites for additional information, and resources for Scouting Activities. The Contacts Page will give you contacts for information about the camp, and Scouting Groups and Individuals in the Woodstock Area. The Camp Page will provide information about Camp Shegardaynou, including description, directions to the camp, map of the camp with pictures taken at various times of the year, and a link for booking the camp through a WEB site. The International Camp page will provide information about the Woodstock International Camp, including application forms, and registration information.
